A clinically backed approach to managing carbohydrate-heavy meals.
CarbShield combines four research-backed ingredients that work through different pathways to help reduce the impact of carbohydrate-rich meals. Every ingredient is supported by human research, and our own clinical study is currently underway.
How the dual-pathway approach works
Helps slow the breakdown of starch into glucose.
Helps reduce the post-meal glucose spike.
Supports the body's normal insulin response.
Like rice, roti, bread and pasta.
The Science Behind Each Ingredient
1. Reducose® MulberryLeaf Extract
Mulberry leaves contain DNJ (1-Deoxynojirimycin), a natural compound that slows the enzyme responsible for breaking down carbohydrates.
2. White Kidney Bean Extract
White Kidney Bean Extract naturally blocks alpha-amylase, the enzyme that breaks down starch.
3. Ceylon Cinnamon
CarbShield uses Ceylon Cinnamon, not Cassia Cinnamon. Ceylon Cinnamon contains much lower levels of coumarin, making it the preferred choice for regular use.
4. Chromium Picolinate
Chromium is a mineral that helps insulin work more efficiently.
Why These Ingredients Work Better Together
While your food is being digested
After sugar enters your blood
Safety You Can Trust
Recognised by leading food safety authorities.
CarbShield is being tested in real people.
We're currently conducting a 40-participant CGM trial at Deogiri Diabetes Centre. Unlike ingredient-only research, this study is evaluating the complete CarbShield formula.

FAQ's
How does CarbShield work?
It works through two pathways: white kidney bean extract slows starch breakdown, while mulberry leaf extract slows the release of glucose from carbohydrates. Cinnamon and chromium support insulin sensitivity.
When should I take CarbShield?
The formulation is designed to be taken about 10–15 minutes before a carbohydrate-rich meal.
Can I eat rice or roti after taking CarbShield?
CarbShield is designed for carbohydrate-rich meals such as rice, roti, bread and pasta by helping reduce the post-meal glucose impact.
Will CarbShield completely block carbohydrates?
No. The ingredients partially reduce starch digestion — they do not completely block carbohydrate absorption.
Can CarbShield help with insulin resistance?
The ingredient research shows support for healthier glucose handling and insulin sensitivity, which is relevant for people managing insulin resistance.
Is CarbShield safe for regular use?
The ingredients used in CarbShield have regulatory approvals or safety reviews from bodies such as FDA GRAS, EFSA and FSSAI for their intended use.
